Farhan 'RockedOn'

last weekend i finally got time to groove into RockOn..

i was hearing so much about the movie that i couldn't wait to fix my eyes over it..

The movie lived up to my expectations..

we had a bowl!..

it was long time since i had seen a movie with ingredients in just the right proportions..

Speaking of Farhan Akhtar, it was a complete surprise package. I always respected him for his oozing intellect and his out-of-ordinary take on movie-making, but his inning as an actor was mesmerising. Not only did he played the character of a rockstar to perfection, but he truly lived it..

Trying his own voice on microphone was definitely a brave move.. I found an element of charisma in his voice. Having directed successful movies, he certainly knows how to act allusively.

So, what else can one do to actuate his dream debut? a power-packed movie isn't a bad idea..

Until now, I felt that this year's best debut was going to be an easy walk for Imran Khan who embossed his presence at the box office earlier this year. But i gotta admit.. he might just get to run for his money, or, who knows, might just get it snatched by the 'RockStar'..

Nasal KARZ??

Everyone must've seen the promos of upcoming movie, the rehashed version of 70's classic, KARZ, starring nostrilious Himesh Reshamiya.
The promos look exasperating..
I really struggle to decipher why 'remakes' have become the fad of the day? Are we completely drained of new ideas? Speaking of 'KARZ', it was a classic, a masterpiece emblazoned by the sweetness of Rishi Kapoor, kindled to life on the celluloid !
Its hard to switch into Himesh who looks an exhausted senior citizen..
I strongly assert that movies like SHOLAY & KARZ, that set a bench mark for Indian cinema should be left untarnished and must not be tampered with.

the Dis-Oriented 'ORIENTAL'..

Frankly speakin.. we're tired of undue boundations imposed in the Oriental arena..
'parking not allowed', 'classes obligatory','compulsion to consent for anything and everything'... and many more..
We are deprived off freedom and liberty to go with our will.. I struggle to decipher why aren't we allowed a parking for our vehicle.. when they've taken the bus fee from one and all as a hard stipulation.. whats the point doin this??
is this discipline?
not in my book..
i guess an undergraduate is big enough to make decisions.. provided, you allow him to do it..
Their are other issues too that i've introduced above.. and i leave to you people to come and enlighten them..

Yours
